What is the Diablo 2 Risen Ladder?
The Ladder is a closed realm competitive multiplayer mode in Diablo II. To play and get your name ranked up in the Ladder, you have to create a new character for that specific purpose, without being able to receive help or interact in any way with non-Ladder characters, and vice versa.

The Ladder added different content that was not otherwise accessible, such as the Pandemonium Event, where players could obtain the Hellfire Torch and fight Uber versions of old enemies, which encouraged players to immerse themselves in specific Ladder characters. With Diablo 2 Resurrected, the question remains whether the Ladder could make a comeback.

It’s been just under a month since patch 2.4 went live on the RPP and we still don’t know the exact release date for the Diablo 2: Risen Ladder. Could we get some good news before the month is out? We hope so.

When will season 1 of Diablo 2 Ladder Resurrected start?
As we have already said, there is no confirmed release date and therefore no start date either. However, if we assume that the development process will be similar to the RPP testing we see with Diablo 3, players should also expect to wait at least a couple of weeks for the update to arrive once deployed in the RPP.

Diablo 3 RPP testing typically lasts a couple of weeks before the update is released on all stable platforms, usually on a Friday at 5pm (PST/CEST/GMT/KST) on PC, and a little later on console.
